Wenger is Showing Optimism in Difficult Times

Arsene Wenger. The manager at Arsenal admitted that his team won’t finish on the top four this season. But he insisted on the fact that he can turn things around. On Sunday Arsenal has lost against Brighton with 1-2. The pressure on Wenger has double-folded since this has been the defeat straight in all the four competitions. Arsenal has lost in eight matches among the thirteen matches played by them.
Such poor performance from their favorite team enraged the fans. The supporters chanted for sacking out of manager Wenger. Wenger who has a career span of twenty-two years is not ready to leave the club in spite of such poor performance of the same under his guidance.
Wenger said to Sky Sports that such a situation has cropped out in-front of him, first time in his career. Wenger is showing ultimate optimism and said that he has enough experience to tackle such situations. The only solution to such problems is to focus and stick together. According to him, now when the team needs stay in the table, they are making mistakes at the wrong times.
Wenger denied the rumors of his resignation saying that such news will surface when someone is in a bad situation. But what one needs to do is focus on his/her job. For Arsenal, it is the first time that they were unable to finish in the first 4 under Wenger. By losing on Sunday, Arsenal came at the sixth position, with Tottenham at fourth and thirteen points behind.
Wenger said that winning the Europa league is the only way to enter the next season’s Champion League.
