Tinder asks New York Supreme Court to dismiss $250 million lawsuit against it

The Co-founder and former CEO of Tinder Sean Rad have urged the New York Supreme Court for the dismissal of a $250 million lawsuit that was filed against it by Match group and also IAC who are the owners of Tinder. Match group had claimed that Rad copied the internal files and the proprietary information before he left the company, had violated his employment contract. Rad, however, said that the contract gave him the right for backing up the internal emails and also hold on to those correspondences even after his tenure at Tinder ended.
