Foxconn that is known to be one of the key suppliers of Apple was sued by Microsoft as it failed to provide honor to a patent licensing agreement from 2013. The company was also supposed to make royalty payments to Microsoft. Microsoft had however claimed that Foxconn had not paid the dues in time and it still owned the money along with interest. Foxconn has however replied back to the allegations of Microsoft as a way of bullying the underdog. It said that Microsoft was falling behind in the smartphone era and thus it was adopting such bad strategies.
