In the ongoing World Cup cricket tournament, skipper Jos Buttler stated that he is ready to take the charge of captaining England, in case, injured skipper Eoin Morgan fails to recover in time to face Afghanistan on Tuesday.
During England’s match against West Indies in Southampton on Friday, Morgan had to leave the field with a back spasm. Also, opening batsman Jason Roy was also forced to leave the field due to a tight hamstring.
Jos Buttler, vice-captain of the England cricket team, was unable to keep wicket in the team’s earlier match against Bangladesh but stated he was fully fit as he ponders on leading the side.
