Huawei and Google announced of paying to owners of faulty Nexus 6P devices

Google and Huawei have apparently agreed on paying back to the owners of the faulty Nexus 6P devices in order to settle a class action lawsuit from the users of the device. The users have complained of facing boot looping issues that caused the phones to shut down frequently despite the battery levels remaining in good conditions. Pending the approval from the court, the companies would be liable for a settlement of $9.75 million for the class action that started in the month of April 2017. It may also result in payments of up to $400 for the participating plaintiffs.
