The match between Sri Lanka and West Indies was first considered to be the first insignificant match of the 2019 World Cup but it ended as a thrilling match that can be considered as good as any other games in the tournament. Avishka Fernando struck a 103-ball 104; whereas Kusal Perera scored 64 from only 51 balls as the Lankans ended the game with 338/6.
