Afghanistan has lost two matches that they have played so far. In the first match, they were bowled out for 207 against Australia and the latter won by seven-wickets. Then, in their second match, the Afghan team couldn’t score more than 152 against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won by 34 runs.

Afghanistan Team
Mohammad Nabi increased pressure against Sri Lanka, but for the rain delay that stopped their momentum, otherwise, Afghanistan might have gone to win the match. Nabi claimed 4-30 from nine overs, supported by superstar Rashid Khan’s 2-17.
Afghanistan’s top batsman has been Najibullah Zadran – who hit 51 against Australia and 43 against Sri Lanka. Hence, it’s expected that he would present a great show this time also.

New Zealand Team
New Zealand didn’t change their player squad that defeated Sri Lanka while facing Bangladesh in their second match. Hence, this time too, the Kiwis won’t be changing their team players. The Kiwis became the first team to win back-to-back games at this cricket tournament.

Matt Henry has obtained seven wickets already, following up his 3-29 against Sri Lanka with 4-47 against Bangladesh. Lockie Ferguson has taken four wickets during the two games and bowled economically, while Trent Boult – the second-best bowler in the ODI rankings – took 1-44 and 2-44. With the bat, Ross Taylor and Martin Guptill are very good. A magical show is expected from these players for Saturday’s match.

Match Prediction
Afghanistan would be taking on New Zealand in their third World Cup 2019 match at County Ground Taunton on Saturday. Both teams would be looking forward to give their best for the game. However, going by the earlier match details, there is a high probability of the Black Caps winning their match against Afghanistan.
