Apple Informs Congress that is Didn’t Find Signs of Microchip Tampering

Amazon, Apple, and Supermicro, each of them have forcefully denied that their system had been tampered with after the publication of the Bloomberg BusinessWeek report only last week that alleges the Chinese agents should introduce microchips into the servers that is manufactured in the country. In the letter to the Congress officials, Apple has strongly stated it denial by saying that it has hasn’t found any signs of tampering.
Reuters secured a letter which had been written by the Vice President of Apple, George Stathakopoulos for Information Security that has send to the commerce committees for both US House and US Senate. In this, he has stated that the proprietary security tools for constantly scanning this kind of outbound traffic since it indicates malware or some other malicious activities. Nothing had ever been found. He has also mentioned that Apple had no contacted the FBI regarding this issue as mentioned in the report and indicated that he is going to be available to the brief Congressional staff in future.
In the original statement, Apple had stated when it had been asked to comment on the allegations of recent months; it performed rigorous internal investigations on the basis of the inquiries and didn’t find any evidence of tampering. Beyond the denials of each of the company, UK and US, governmental agencies have supported them simply by saying that they do not have any reason to doubt their statements.
