Andrés Iniesta Leaves Barcelona to Sign Up for Vissel Kobe

Barcelona captain Andrés Iniesta would be signing up for Vissel Kobe which is top Japanese side. He had played his last game for the Spanish side and he would be ending a sixteen year long relationship with the football club. He had also won eight La Liga titles along with four Champions Leagues. After bidding goodbye to his team, Iniesta had flown to Japan in order to finalize his terms with the Japanese side.
He is supposed to sign a three-year deal with the Japanese Club which had never won a Single Champions League and holds the 6th place in the 18-team J1 League. He would be the first player from Barcelona to be a part of Kobe. The team was earlier led by Lukas Podolski who was the former Arsenal Forward. Michael Laudrup, the Danish legend had played for this side after shifting form Real Madrid in 1996.
Iniesta had announced the end of his relationship with Barcelona at a press conference. He had been a part of the club since when he was only 12 years old. He also thanked his teammates and stated that his aim was to bring success to the club. He had made 674 appearances for the club and had been a part of remarkable national and international success that the club had witnessed.
Iniesta had been a midfielder for the club and was an important player. He had been a part of the South Africa World Cup in 2010 and had been a part of the team in two European Championships as well. After signing the terms with Kobe, he would be returning to Spain to join Julen Lopetegui.
